If you are waiting for your HSC result, the wait is almost over. The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has announced that the HSC and equivalent exam results will be published on October 31, 2026, at 11:00 AM. A notice about this was also posted on the Dhaka Education Board website.
This year, 1,270,583 candidates sat for the exams. The papers started on July 2 and, for most boards, wrapped up by August 8. Chattogram Board followed a revised routine, and its exams ran until September 9. Even so, the results of all boards are expected to come out together, so you do not need to look for separate dates for each board.

How to Check HSC Result 2026 Online With Marksheet
Checking online is the best option when you have a stable internet connection, because you see more than just the GPA. Keep your roll number and registration number ready. Both are printed on your admit card.
- Open the official portal at educationboardresults.gov.bd.
- Under Examination, choose HSC/Alim/Equivalent.
- Under Year, choose 2026.
- Select your board, such as Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Jashore, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, Mymensingh, Madrasah or Technical.

HSC Result 2026 with Marksheet
Once your result opens, you can usually see your name, parents' names, institution, group, total GPA and the letter grade of each subject. HSC Result 2026 Dhaka Board
Dhaka is one of the busiest boards on result day, so the portal can feel slow for Dhaka candidates. If the site does not load, send HSC DHA Roll 2026 to 16140.
HSC Result 2026 Rajshahi Board
Choose Rajshahi from the board list and enter your roll and registration numbers. For SMS the code is RAJ.
HSC Result 2026 Cumilla Board
You will see the name written both as Comilla and Cumilla. Whichever spelling the dropdown shows, the SMS code is COM.
HSC Result 2026 Jashore Board
The name is spelled Jashore, but the SMS code is JES. Many students mix this one up, so write it carefully.
HSC Result 2026 Chattogram Board
Chattogram had a different exam schedule this year, ending on September 9. Unless an official notice says otherwise, expect the result at the same time as the other boards. The SMS code is CHI.
HSC Result 2026 Barishal Board
Barishal candidates should use BAR in the message, like HSC BAR Roll 2026.
HSC Result 2026 Sylhet Board
Pick Sylhet in the online form and 2026 as the year. The SMS code is SYL.
HSC Result 2026 Dinajpur Board
Dinajpur students can use both methods. Online needs roll and registration numbers, and SMS needs the code DIN with the roll number.

Here is the rule in plain words. Add up the grade points of your six main subjects. From your optional (4th) subject, add only the points above 2.00. For example, an A (4.00) in the optional subject adds 2.00. Divide the total by 6 and you have your GPA, with 5.00 as the maximum. An F in a compulsory subject means you did not pass. An F in the optional subject does not fail you.

It happens every year, and it is usually a small fix. Run through this list before you panic.
- Check the board. Selecting the wrong board is the number one mistake.
- Check the numbers. One wrong digit in the roll or registration number and nothing appears.
- Check the year and exam. It should say HSC/Alim/Equivalent and 2026.
- Re-enter the captcha. If it fails, refresh the code and try again.
- Switch to SMS. It often works when the website is crowded.

HSC Result 2026 Board Challenge (Re-scrutiny)
If you believe a subject's marks do not match your performance, you can usually apply for re-scrutiny, widely called a board challenge. After the result, the education board publishes a notice that explains the application period, the fee, which subjects are eligible and how to pay.
The rules can change from one year to the next, so do not rely on last year's instructions. Wait for the official notice and save a copy of your result. Keep in mind that marks can go up after re-scrutiny, but there is no guarantee. Apply only for subjects where you genuinely have doubts.
